About Us

The Plasma Engineering and Applied Research Lab also known as the plasma radiation source lab was set up in the early 90’s at the National Institute of Education, Singapore. The primary focus of the lab was the development of the dense plasma focus device for nuclear fusion, lithography and material processing. The lab has a rich history in the field of dense plasma focus devices and is one of the leading centers in the world for the same. This group boasts of its command over the development of custom plasma focus devices for operation in different regimes based on the application of interest.

The group has expanded its horizons from high energy density pulsed plasma to other fields like low temperature plasmas for battery, solar cell applications and also in the field of Spintronics. The team consists of a group of enthusiastic scientists and researchers with specializations in different fields working together towards the development of future technologies and to explore the secrets of the universe.

GROUP OF EXPERIENCED, YOUNG, DYNAMIC AND SKILLED PROFESSIONALS WITH DIVERSE BACKGROUND OF SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING.
